The ISI nVision series of thermal imaging solutions - offering you the ultimate in thermal imaging combined with ultrasonic tracking! Now you no longer must rely on sight alone to locate a firefighter in distress or find safe passage out of a structure. With the ISI nVision imager combined with ISI EchoSeeker™ Ultrasonic Tracking System you can have both sight and sound together - reducing the time required for search, rescue and retrieval in situations where time is of the essence!
ABOUT THE INFRARED SENSOR
The ISI nVision utilizes the latest technological advancements in thermal imaging sensors to produce rugged, fire hardened imagers capable of delivering the tactical information you need. These sensors provide greater thermal sensitivity, higher detector saturation point, wider operating temperature range, improved image update rate, and temperature colorization. Sensors are available in 160 x120 for the nVision XT and 320 x 240 for the nVision XTP. The sensor has automatic gain/contrast control, highly integrated DSP-based image processing and uses Dynamic Electronic Integration (DEI) Mode to optimize image quality in high thermal energy scenes.
ABOUT THE DURABILITY
Taking into consideration the extremely harsh environment, the ISI nVision is designed to withstand a 10 foot drop and remain operational. Along with being IP67 waterproof (with or without a battery in place), the ISI nVision is vibration and RFI tested to assure peak performance. Flame retardant straps, bumpers, outer shells, and battery housings pass flame testing similar to that required by SCBA standards.
Product approvals
There are no approvals on Thermal Imaging Cameras. However, flame retardant straps, bumpers, outer shells and battery housings pass flame testing similar to that required by SCBA testing.

ABOUT THE ISI EchoSeeker™
ISI EchoSeeker™ attaches directly to the ISI nVision thermal imaging camera, between the battery pack and the camera unit. When thermal imaging and ultrasonic technology are combined, the result is a unit that can dramatically decrease rescue time and time in fire. No other thermal imaging camera in the fire service offers this unique combination. With its one-button operation, light weight design, and slide-on external module, ISI EchoSeeker™ is user-friendly and simple to operate. May be used with the ISI Viking Z Seven SCBA with EchoTracer™ beacon option, remote Auxillary and Exit Beacon system, or other brands of compatible ultrasonic beacons.
