CERTIFICATIONS
The M53, part of the next generation 50 series of respirators, features a new patented twin exhalation valve providing the capability to use the mask with all recognised forms of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
The M53 will function as a conventional negative pressure mask as well as with a range of SCBA and PAPR.
The M53 is based on the M50 mask Avon Protection is supplying to meet the US Government Joint Services General Purpose Mask (JSGPM) requirement for all four US military forces.
The M53 has been developed to meet the specific requirements of Special Operations Units to protect against the multiple threats encountered in modern war fighting and peacekeeping operations.
