Avon Protection's C420 PAPR (Powered Air-Purifying Respirator) System has been developed to provide respiratory support to First Responders, SWAT, Military and Special Operation users that require non–IDLH respiratory protection over an extended time period.
 
This industry-leading PAPR is NIOSH approved with CBRN FM12 and CBRN C50 tight fitting respirators. It filters CBRN and other contaminants from ambient air and provides a constant, filtered airflow of between 115 and 125 lpm.

The cooling effect of constant, filtered airflow into the respirator removes any potential for fogging, increases comfort and reduces pulmonary stress and any claustrophobic feelings, while conserving the strength and mental acuity of the wearer.
